Great Box!!!
I am a Machinist that had outgrown my box and needed a larger box with large drawers for some of my expensive tools that would not fit in my standard box (I have digital calipers that are 0-40" and starret mics that range from 0-16". This box was perfect!!! More than happy with the investment. The orange is beautiful and matches the orange on my Charmilles Wire EDM's very nicely. Quality is some of the best I have seen. Shipping was flawless, arrived to my shop in 4 days with no issues and the box was packaged very well. The MDF top is much nicer than I had expected and will last for years. Very happy with the investment and may buy another one in the future for my garage. Montezuma 72 model fits my needs perfectly. More workbench space and nice roller bearing drawers
provide a nice toolbox to work out of. Now my big collection of pliers and sockets have their own space
and no more digging around for what I am looking for. I would recommend this toolbox for the mechanic
who likes a very organized setup. The quality is much higher than the big box store ones found in stainless
finish. I am impressed with the quality of the powder coating on this tool box. Uncrating took less than

Doesn't Get Much Better For Price and Quality
Let me start off with saying I'm not affiliated with Strictly Toolboxes or Montezuma other than being a TOTALLY SATISFIED customer! I was very hesitant to believe such great reviews on all Strictly Tools products since anything can be made up and put on the internet. After researching this site for a couple of weeks I decided to call and spoke with Shannon for almost an hour. Being treated as an individual and not just a number, he answered all my questions thoroughly and honestly. I was still uneasy about such a huge purchase on-line without being able to physically inspect this tool cabinet with my own hands. So decided to go store to store and compare what is out there. To no avail I was completely dissatisfied with the craftsmanship and the cost of the products out there being just as much if not insanely more than the products on this site. So that making up my mind I went all in cause I needed a box regaurdless of who made it or where it came from. I ordered this box on a Friday and they had it at my shop the next Thursday. I was torn between the Extreeme 56" 21 drawer which was on back order for a couple of weeks and Shannon suggested this one after explaining to him my needs for the box. I have not looked back since!
Once the box arrived it looked like it was packed to go into a Demolition Derby. Although Strictly Tools take many precautions to inspect for damage and go into great detail how to do this it is ultimately up to the freight driver to let you open it up and inspect it. Which mine would not let me do just cause he could be a d*** about it cause he could. So I called and spoke with Shannon and he explained that the boxes are packed so well that he would be highly suprised if there was damage of any sort but to note on the bill of lading any damage to the exterior of the crate and that would be sufficient if there was damage to the box and that we had 72 hours to report it if there was. So after taking about 20 min to unbox this thing there was not even a blimish of any sort. I did however use a 10 ton over head crane to remove it from the crate which made a world of differance considering the size of this box.
After getting this on the work floor there was a flow of mechanics and machinist with anywhere from 2-30 years experience in this field. Their first impressions were WOW, who makes it and how much was it. I was very impressed with the craftsmanship of this box and just how stout it is! My biggest downfall is that there is no matching chest for this box to purchase later. I do like that the heavy duty casters that can be added at a later time if needed for this box. Also slides can be added to make most of the drawers 500lbs instead of 250lbs which is still a hell of a lot of iron in one drawer. To sum all this up I am beyond impressed with the quality and the flawlessness of this box! I would recommed this to any

Awesome Tool Cabinet
What a great product. Everything was just as described but better. Customer Service worked great with us with receiving this tool box. We are way up here on the mountain and they laid out everything we needed to get this toolbox here safe and sound. Well packaged to make sure it arrived safe. However, as tough as this toolbox is I think it would of held up without all the packaging. Drawers are perfect size and roll with ease. The toolbox looks great in our shop and it sure cleaned up all the tools that we had hanging on the wall and scattered around the ranch. (Posted on 4/16/12)

Considering the price of the name brands, buying this three bay Montezuma toolbox was a no brainer. The price, quality and shipment are excellent. I had been looking for a new bigger tool box for a while and was looking at a smaller tool box by a different company and a guy in my class got the Montezuma elite. After looking at it and another tool box made by a competitor I decided that the Montezuma was better built and twice the value. I did a lot of research and looked at a lot of tool boxes and companies. I went with Montezuma and couldn't be happier with it. It was very well packaged and looks great. Great Tool Box
This is a great tool box i did a lot of looking for a new tool box and i have no regrets buying this one. I had outgrown my old tool box and now i have enough room to buy more tools, which wont be a problem with the money i saved. When the tool box arrived there was a little damage to the crate but the tool box was fine. The quality of the tool box is great the drawers open and close smoothly the casters roll on the shop floor well and the tool box looks great. 72" Montezuma
I love this tool box!!! From first ordering till delivery everything was a breeze!!! I needed a larger tool box for some time and after looking at some of the other competitors boxes, the value for this tool box took the cake!!! I like the ease of opening the drawers, and the mobility with the upgraded casters (well worth the upgrade). There is lots of storage, room for all my sockets to sheet metal tools. After having this tool box for a couple months I wish they would have beefed up the drawer locks, the plastic ends broke within the first 3 months, and the drawers will open when you don't expect it. I also wish they would offer a stainless steel top for this model. Montezuma 16 drawer 72"
Shopped around for a while because I outgrew my 41" tool box with top chest. I didn't want to spend all of the money for one of the top brands and a friend told me about this site. I found this tool box on sale and decided to go for it after reading all of the good reviews. When the box arrived I was very surprised at the initial quality of the box. Its very solid and I’m 210 lbs and i kneeled down in the bottom drawer to test it and it held my weight without an issue. I’ve had the box for a year now and never had an issue with it. None the less to say I am more than happy with my purchase. Only problem is that now I’m starting to outgrow this box and i need a side cart for it and there isn’t one out for it yet in orange. What an incredible deal!
I am a technician at a dealership in town and I needed to upgrade my tool box. I was in the market for a three bay that was tall. Me being 6'4", I don't like to bend down a few inches to write on a repair order or use my computer.
I was looking around between the three major brands and decided on the same size. Another technician has that tool box in the shop so I was able to check it out pretty well. It's a nice tool box, but they cost around $5500. I came across strictlytoolboxes.com and saw the 72" 16 drawer Montezuma. I looked at the specifications and went back to look at the other tool box's specs. Not much of a difference, in fact the only differences were in favor the Montezuma. About a month ago "add to cart" was clicked.
It arrived securely surrounded in Styrofoam inside a crate. I opened the crate and was amazed at what just $2000 had gotten me. I rolled it into the shop and have not stopped getting compliments since. The paint finish is great and the drawer pulls look and feel awesome. The drawer liners fit perfectly and, as my shop foreman said, the drawers pull just as nice as his tool box that cost five times as much. The top is nice and smooth so you can write on it. The height is perfect for me, I could not have been happier on that point. I love the fact that it has the extra set of casters. That means that is it meant to hold a heavy load. The drawer sliders actually hold more weight than the original tool box i was looking at. Another big plus is the second full width skinny drawer. I have never seen that on any other tool box and it is the perfect drawer.
Overall I had a great experience with strictlytoolboxes.com and am 110% happy with my choice. Some of the other techs told me if they had to do it all over again they wouldn't have made the same decision. Even one of the tools truck guys was was checking it out. When I told him the price he was blown away. He came back over to me later and said that if I would have gotten a tool box just like the 72" 16 drawer Montezuma it would have cost me over $6000. I did a lot of research on line and read reviews. Decided to order a MTZ-7224BK Because the reviews were positive and price was right.Had it shipped to my shop on time was packaged real well.I like the solid feel and smoothness of the draws.And finish is great .The one thing i found wrong was the swivel casters would hang up on the extra thick flat washers.I replaced with standard size hard washers.Never had a problem again.casters are strong and toolbox does not twist on uneven floor.I recommend this box to any body interested in quality at a fair price. Found out about this site and the Montezuma branded tool boxes through Garage Journal and, after reading all the good reviews over there from members who've purchased here, I decided to take the plunge on this 72" tool box.
This tool cabinet really has everything I need and then some. I love the color (orange) and the overall design of the toolbox. The two shallow, full length drawers beneath the deep top drawer are hard to find in other brands/boxes and that's one thing that really made me finally pull the trigger on this.
The quality is top notch, right up there with the truck brands, at least in my opinion. It's also worlds apart from big box store brands. The extra bracing on the bottom of the drawers and the bottom of the toolbox, the beefy casters and the high quality slides really do set this tool box apart from anything else I've looked at so far.
As far as shipping, the service was prompt and the packing was outstanding. Not a scratch on it and the customer service has been nothing short of superb. I could not be more happy with my purchase and look forward to doing business with this site in the future. I highly recommend this tool box, because I honestly believe there is not a better value to be found elsewhere.

GREAT BOX
This tool cabinet is absolutely wonderful. The drawers are smooth and quiet, the toolbox is solid and beautiful. I had a stainless "shoe box lid" made to cover the wood top. The other guys in my shop all have commented on quality of the tool box, and the LOW price I paid. I could not be happier. Thank You to Shanon for your advice.
