Shipping was very quick and the communication was very good. This massive hunk of steel has all the storage that i expected. Again, it is as good if not better than other brands that sell for thousands of dollars more. The ball bearing drawers roll in and out with ease. Only one thing I would have changed or liked to see was two sets of drawer slides for drawer #1. Even with that said, I have all my Hansen trays filled with both Metric and SAE in 6 point/12 point in 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" drives in this drawer and it still pulls out effortlessly. There is so much room that now I have to buy more tools just to fill it and with the money I saved purchasing this jewel I do not even have to feel guilty about it.
Thank you Shannon for assisting me with this purchase. I have already recommended this site to friends and have eagerly encouraged them to purchase from you. Awesome experience! (Posted on 5/10/12)

Shipping was good. The shipping company held the tool box at the dock 90 miles away from me for almost four days and that was hard on my patience. Packing was good though I did have a scuff on the stainless top where something pushed down hard on the crate and one of the supports under the top sheet of the box created a high spot and left a dull glaze that keeps it from looking perfect.
All in all well worth the money. So much better than the tool box store brands and it's kind of hard to imagine how much better a cabinet could be for 2 or 3 times the price. I'd buy it again! (Posted on 2/17/12)

The guy that works next to me saw on your website and compared my tool box to his. My tool box has 1.2mm steel so he checked his Sxxx-ox tool box. The Sxxx-ox steel was 1.34 so minus the paint probably 1.2mm as well. The Sxxx-ox tool box cost him 6500 dollars and is didn’t have a stainless top. It is shorter and not as deep as my tool box. It also has 2 fewer casters.
I am not complaining and I am not sending my tool box back. You can’t have it! There were 2 things wrong with the toolbox. A minor 2 inch ding in back side of tool box. You have to look side ways to see it. The major concern was that almost all the wheel bolts where loose and 2 where missing. I tightened them up and installed 2 new bolts. While working on the casters I saw the construction inside the box and it is very well build.
The trucking company you used had my # but didn’t call me. They allowed a parts guy to sign off on it. I just wanted to let you know. The tool box is very well packed. My only recommendation is that you tell your customers to check their wheel bolts. Thank you so much for the great deal. I am trying to send you business, and helping to get the word out. The first time I ordered the tool box did not arrive and did not receive a notice that it was not in stock in the color that I wanted. So emailed company and receive a response the next day. I needed it right away for spring work so I changed color and than less than 4 days I received my new white tool box. They were very apologetic and was very quick with order. Excellent to order from! There is nothing that I don't like!, (Posted on 5/9/12)

StrictlyToolboxes did everything they promised, when they promised. Quick free shipping, no taxes for me in Colorado and their price was less than I could find the box anywhere. The box arrived in great shape on a new pallet and packaging. I purchased magnetic tool drawers labels from someone on E-bay that really helped organize the box. With so many drawers it helps. That is one option StrictlyToolboxes could consider.
Thanks

I've only got two gripes with this box. First of all it really needs two handles on each end of the top chest.
When the box arrived, it was on a small pallet and they had the top chest in a cardboard box sitting on top of the bottom cabinet which was in another cardboard box with a strap to tie the top and bottom together.
The truck driver offered to help me lift the top cabinet off the bottom so I could inspect the bottom cabinet and I just about dropped my side. The top cabinet is just too heavy with the drawers in it to lift with a single handle on each side. That said, even Sxxx-ox's KRL 54" top chests only have one handle on each side so maybe I'm asking too much.
The other thing I could do without is the big obnoxious Extreme Tools logo on the bottom. If they would ditch this logo and use they money the save to add two more handles on the top cabinet would be perfect.
But it was well packed and arrived without any scratches or dings. (Posted on 6/30/11)

I easily assembled the wheels and handles (get some help...this thing is a monster and heavy!!) then I closely inspected the boxes and I have to tell you, this thing is high quality. Extreme evidently has found an excellent manufacturer or has their own plant or has their own QC guy on-site in China.....time will tell how the long term performance is of the boxes but my initial impression is that they are hell-for-stout and built to a high standard, plus, my wife said that the blue color "is really cute"!
My shopping experience with striclytoolboxes.com was excellent, they did everything they said they would do when they said they were going to do it....good shopping experience!
The only issue that I have now is finding room for it in my garage....sounds like a good weekend project!

The 18g steel is bent in all the right places to make these incredibly sturdy chests. The design is very thoughtful and efficient. I especially liked that all of the fasteners that are necessary for assembly have threaded bungs welded into the chest so you don't have to yank the drawers out to fish in the nuts from the backside.
The drawer pulls are exceptional. They are a heavy, nicely polished, aluminum extrusion that is held on with fasteners through the drawer fronts rather than some cheep, thin extrusion that just sticks on or is slid over a flanged bend on the drawer.
There is no one that I wouldn't recommend these chests to. (Posted on 2/6/09)

The sliders are great quality rollers. Drawers are strong. I am impressed with the quality of the tool box. After seeing the toolbox and the price that I purchased it, some of the other guys at work are also looking to purchase one.
The detents are tough, but they include lighter replacements. The bolts that hold the handle on are too small and are not the best for securing it to the tool box. The addition of washers helped to properly secure the handle. Some of the larger drawers only have a single slider. In order to keep them properly working and strong I am adding extra sliders to all of the drawers that I can in order to lengthen drawer life and capability. The top did not stand up to chemicals, the stain on the top was ruined by brake clean.
I do kind of worry about the five year warranty. From what I have seen the Montezuma toolbox should last as long as I need it. Even if I have to replace parts of it, the tool box will cost me far less than a comparable size brand name.
A friend of mine uses the 56" box at work. I was impressed by how great of a toolbox it was for the price.
The Sxxx-Ox and Mxx guys are unhappy that I did not purchase their boxes. I have gotten a lot of grief from both of them. When taken care of toolboxes will last a very long time no matter what brand makes them.
I love the toolbox. I am very happy to have it and I can't wait to expand it. The only regret that I have is not buying the elite for the stainless top and faultless casters. (Posted on 4/12/12)

I went ahead and purchased this tool box. It was the size I wanted and a good price as a added bonus. I did have a few questions about the tool box. When I called I got every answer I needed. I talked to Shannon on phone, A great guy to deal with. He was very Professional and answered all my questions.
When the tool box came in I was very very excited. It was like a big birthday gift to myself. The size of the big was WAY bigger then I thought it was going to be. I loved the size of it. the full length drawers. Its built like a tank. Everyone I know that is a mechanic all think I spent over 10,000 on this tool box. When I size it up with some of my friends over spent Snap on boxes they start to cry. After they see the massive size of my tool box vrs the small size of their tool box.
I tell everyone I know who looking for a solid tool box about what they can find on this web site. The sizes are great. The prices are the best. And the shipping is ungodly fast. (Posted on 9/5/11)

second thing i would like to compare is the drawer's! i managed to get all my tools in the classic box with no problem ,w/some xtra drawers to fill later on. I noticed when fully closeing the drawer's they are quiet! they do not clunck when closed like S*****,M*****,But the bigger manufactors have a upper hand on the semi-locking of the drawers staying closed when moving the box around in the shop. easy fix! "lock the box".
AS for the caster's???? time will tell have only had the box for 2 week's,but when moveing it across the shop up to 8 times a day will give it a work out, including me!.so far they are holding up great!!!!
now for the paint OR powder coat it is layed on great! not a glass finish like a show car but is covered very well....better then the S***** box was!!! my "mistake" had a light area on the right side bottom/back that i didn't notice till i had it out side. 2 years later!
all i have to say is do not be miss lead buy the price....it is a very very well built roller ..
NOTE: TO THE CUSTOMER'S LOOKING AT THIS REVEIW...THIS IS NOT A SCAM...OR A PROMO IN ANYWAY... THIS REVIEW IS MY PERSONAL OPIONON OF THE TOOL BOX I ORDERED.HOPE IT HELP'S YOU!!
THANK YOU, shannon !!! For the great costumer service,I will be contacting you for futher purchase's for this tool box...

After checking all the sites I found this site to be the cheapest with the best reviews. I was originally looking at the 41" toolbox combo and was torn between Extreme & Montazuma. I called and spoke with Shannon and he suggested this tool box. I decided to spend the slight extra and purchased it.
I ordered it on 4/2 and it shipped on 4/3 as I was notified via e-mail. The shipping company called and stated they would deliver on 4/11 as that was the first lift gate truck they had. I asked about the truck and they told me it was a semi trailer. I informed them that my driveway could not accept a truck that large. They stated they would unload in the street and leave it at the end of the driveway. I explained that that was not safe due to the road I live on (Blind Curve on Steep Hill). I called Shannon and he said not to worry they deliver to difficult locations all the time. I was very concerned about the delivery.
The truck arrived and the driver knew the area and how unsafe it was to stop in the street. He passed my house found a turn around and came back facing down hill. He was then able to back the trailer into the driveway. He unloaded it and with a pallet jack brought it the 400' down the driveway and put it into my garage.
It arrived very well packed and the driver waited for me to inspect it as instructed. It was perfect. I took my time and assembled the lower box without any problems. I had to call for help to stand up the bottom toolbox after installing the wheels and to put the top box on. It is a very large but 2 people can handle it.
The toolbox is better than you can imagine. It is large and the finish and quality is exceptional. I am glad I went with the larger toolbox.
If you are worried about buying off the internet sight unseen, don't worry about this product or the company, buy it you will not have any regrets.
I highly recommend this toolbox and company. (Posted on 4/11/12)

I'm really glad I got the 56" 21 drawer Montezuma. First of all, it looks fantastic. I love the blue! It will look good in any garage. The 21 drawers allow me to keep things very well organized. The drawers slide smoothly and are easy to take out and replace if you need to. It's a great size that allows me to keep things where I want them without loading up multiple tool types in the same drawers.
The tool box is well built. The casters are impressive. I have no doubt they will hold up well even with a heavy tool load. The finish is nice on the tool box. I have no problems at all with the tool box. It's just as advertised and I expect this tool box to last me for decades.
Ordering was a breeze. The tool box went out the same day I ordered. I got it about 5 days later. FedEx brought it right inside my garage with a pallet jack. Inspection went very quickly as StrictlyToolBoxes had detailed instructions written specifically for this exact tool box. The tool box was well packed and had no shipping damage. Set up was simple.
This was a great purchase. Don't worry at all about buying a tool box sight unseen. It's a good tool box and the service from Strictly Tool Boxes is top notch. If I ever get more advanced and need another tool box, I would buy another Montezuma from Strictly Tool Boxes (probably the 72"). (Posted on 2/12/12)

I was a little concerned about ordering a tool box that I couldn't look at, but I had out grown my 41 inch and needed to upgrade to this 56 inch, a friend of mine ordered one from Shannon and had a great experience so I took a chance and was very satisfied with the whole experience.
What I love about this tool box is that it is BIG and very well built, the wheels are beefy and the drawers slide nice. It even came with drawer liners that I wasn't expecting. When the tool box arrived it was missing 4 drawer liners so I emailed Shannon and within 4 days I had my drawer liners @ no charge and no questions asked, now that's service.
The only thing I have found so far is that the main top drawer that is 51 inches wide sometimes binds if you don't close it slow but I'm sure because it is so wide that the hinges flex a little, but it really isn't a problem as long as you don't try to slam it shut..
I would highly recommend strictlytoolboxes.com to anyone, the customer service and knowledge was impressive, it doesn't really exist anymore these days, if you are concerned about buying from these guys don't worry, you'll love the experience, keep up the great work guys.... (Posted on 2/4/12)

Back in April my buddy/coworker got the 72" elite and I was blown away with how nice these are made. Especially for the price here on the Strictly Tool Boxes site,
What are some of your favorite features?
The storage space per square inch, the sturdiness of the construction, and the 5th and 6th wheels which you don't get on other companies tool boxes of this size, and the ease of getting the matching lock set which I don't have yet but I know on there way
What do you dislike about the tool box?
Only thing is that I was sent the wrong bracket to mount the side cabinet MTZ-BK1803SL. I called about it and it's in the mail already on it's way to me
How likely are you to recommend this tool box to a friend?
Already did in a way. It wasn't a friend but service guy doing warranty work on one of our sweepers was asking me about it as he watched me unload it from the truck, and looked at the site from his smart phone. (Posted on 1/11/12)

The ordering and shipping process was quick and easy. The packaging had the normal freight wear and tear but because of the great packaging there wasn’t a scratch on it. I would advise to have someone help set it up. I had to get my dad to help put the castors on and lift the upper box onto the lower. He was more than happy to help and see my new “toy” though.
I feel that it is not as high of quality as professional brands such as Sxxx-ox. However, it is head and shoulders better than the run of the mill brands and I feel that what you get for the price is phenomenal. As a side note, if you were one of those people who only want the best money can buy you wouldn’t be on this website anyway. Another minor gripe is the hardware for the handle and tabs that hold the two boxes together are on the cheap side. This doesn’t bother me all that much because it stays in one place in my garage and I only plan on moving it when I move. Plus this can be upgraded in the future.
Now that I own and have used this box I have no regrets. I love the color and drawer configuration. One great thing about strictlytoolboxes is there product line and ability to get what you want. Another thing I love is the top shelf. Overall this box is actually shorter than other comparable boxes I have seen. This allows me to see and use the top shelf without needing a stool or milk crate to stand on. It also doesn’t have a lip on that top shelf which makes it even easier to use. I use the top shelf for pry bars, breaker bars and other long or awkward tools.
I would not hesitate to recommend this box and strictly tool boxes, as a company, to anyone. (Posted on 8/31/11)

There are a number of decent units to choose from however the cost is through the roof. Conversely there are a number of very low priced units that don't cut the mustard. I was pleased to find Stricklytoolboxes.com and the assortment and quality not to mention decent prices for the units. Not only can you find a decent product but you can customize the configuration, drawer sizes etc.. as you see fit.
I purchased the Montezuma 56" 21 drawer combo in blue. When the toolboxes were delivered there was some worry and the cardboard had some damage. However the units were well packed and did not have a scratch on them. Its' amazing how much stuff from other places shows up damaged. So I was very pleased with the packing of the toolboxes, took a while to get it all off. Assembly was very easy, just bolt on the handle and the wheels and your good to go. Then lay down the top protector and set the top box down and roll it away. I used some tie down straps and a chain hoist to raise and lower the top box into position.
The blue color is very pleasing to look at and the finish is very nice. The unit rolls nicely on the six casters and is easy to position. All the drawers slide in and out smoothly and have a slight catch to them when closed. Also included are mats that are pre-cut to size and fit nicely in all the drawers and top storage.
I transferred all the tools from my Craftsman toolboxes and other places tool were sitting around. Some of the drawers are heavily loaded with 3/4 sockets, wrenches etc.. and other with large 2+ inch wrenches on down the previous toolbox could not handle. Everything slides in and out just fine, something I was a little worried about before buying this.
All in all I'm very happy with this purchase and would buy it again in second. I will be purchasing a side box for this for some of the bulkier tools around the shop.
I don't really have any cons but if were to be nit picky:
It would be nice to have a little more height on the top lid of the toolbox. (Posted on 8/21/11)

The tools box is better quality than I expected. Very strong construction. The more I load it up the better it works. Drawers open and close smooth. The finish is durable. My next door neighbor has a very expensive name brand tool box (Sxxx-Ox - which he paid about 4 times more than I did for the same size tool box) and when he saw my new one he was very impressed with quality and price.
I am not a professional mechanic but run a race car out of my home shop so I use my tools a lot. This tool box will last me for a long time. I am sure it will be the last one I NEED to buy, unless I need to go with a bigger tool box. If that happens my first call would be to Strictly Tool Box. (Posted on 7/4/11)

Now about the service, these guys were awesome! I can't imagine these guys are making huge margins on these boxes, but they treated me like a king. They did what they said when they said they would do it. I even talked their ears off when I called them and they took the time to chat with me. (Which I know can be annoying, in case you haven't figured it out I'm a bit of a talker!)
I wish the top and bottom were keyed the same.......but that's not even a issue....no other brands do this that I know of. I will do this myself and also key my mobile cart the same. My picture shows my box with my little mobile cart next to it. They are both full. I work with another tech who is very cheap, and he is really considering buying one of these due to the price and quality. He currently uses a craftsman box and he loves this one. Overall I could not he happier with my purchase!!! Thank you thank you thank you strictly toolboxes! I love it! (Posted on 6/2/11)
Review by Erik J. from Newberg, OR
I was a bit hesitant to order a large and expensive toolbox online, without having had the benefit of spending some time with the product first. You know, opening and closing drawers, getting a sense for the "wobble" in the drawer and how the box feels overall... But, after having read a couple of reviews of this Montezuma box, and the enthusiasm that the owners shared for the product, I decided to give it some serious consideration. I also read a couple of online queries where the prospective customer was asking some very "aggressive" questions about the quality of the spot welds on the box, and Shannon did just the opposite of what I expected -- instead of merely giving lip service to the inquiry, he posted about a half-dozen extremely close-up pictures of the spot welds just to make the point that he sells only quality goods. Those photos and Shannon's professional demeanor toward this inquirer closed the deal.
The ordering process went very smoothly and, fifteen minutes later, I had a confirmation of my order. Shannon's team kept me up to date on every step of the provisioning process, including a delay in the shipping due to some customs paperwork. These guys are true professionals, and they went out of their way to keep me apprised of developments, including release of the box to FedEx, and then a hand-off to the FedEx tracking system with instructions of what I needed to do upon receipt of the box.
The box arrived on the date promised, and the FedEx delivery guy was just dying to see what was inside the box (he was a tool nut, too). So, he helped me unpack the box and we both checked the chests for damage (there was none). He was as impressed as I was with just how heavy and stout this box was, and how well the product was packed on the pallet. So, I assembled the box, which took about an hour, and it was up and ready for business. Moving the box around the shop was "fun" as it is big and very heavy, but I got what I asked for...
I've had the box for about a month now, and it is a true joy to use. Built like a freakin' tank, heavy, solid, and HUGE, it is exactly what I was looking for. I was concerned that the box might be a little "tinny", like some of the more expensive boxes down at Sears but, frankly, there is no comparison -- this box is so much more. I've since loaded up all of my tools, including many of my electronics tools (i.e. scopes, soldering gear, electronics tools), and I still have plenty of room left over. The drawer mats provided with the box are superb, heavy cushiony vinyl, perfectly cut for the drawer, and they keep the tools in place. The drawers are glass smooth when opening and closing, and closing requires a little extra nudge as the drawers all have detents to stay closed. The paint job borders on automotive quality, and all of the fittings scream quality. There isn't a cheap piece of anything on this box, and I have no question that it will last a lifetime.
So, in closing, not only was the box far more than I expected, in all aspects (quality, utility, value, fit and finish), but the ordering process and customer service made the entire process so much better. I will likely need to get a second (smaller) box in the next few years, and I will definitely be coming back to Strictlytoolboxes.com. Thanks, Shannon and team. You guys have earned a five-by-five rating from me. (Posted on 5/31/11)

My name is Randy and I'm the Master technician with the County Detention Center . I purchased the Extreme tool box 56 inch 11 drawer unit to replace an older Waterloo tool box that was starting to show a lot of wear. When I got my new tool box and just taking a quick look at the unit I noticed quickly that the extreme tool box had extra set of slides on the top drawer and all the parts were built much heavier. We use the unit everyday to maintain our 150,000 square foot correctional facility. It works well with securing and transporting our tools and equipment. I would recommend an extreme tool box to anyone and would definitely purchase another tool box if the need arises. (Posted on 3/6/12)

It took 3weeks and 4 attempts to get a tool box delivered to my shop.
The first tool box showed up with freight damage so I refused it, no biggie, it happens. The second tool box shows up a week later on the same freight line with the same driver and the same type of damage, just in a different spot, darn the bad luck but I’m starting to see a pattern here. Third tool box, same freight line, same truck, same driver, same damage, this is starting to sound like one of the definitions of insanity! I called Shannon at Strictly tool boxes, Larry at Extreme tools, and both of the freight companies involved and told them what was going on. Extreme told me they would send the next tool box in a plywood shipping box and that it would be routed thru a different freight line. To Extremes credit they did shrink wrap particle board to 2 sides of the cardboard outer shipping box but it still arrived on the same shipping line, on the same truck, and with the same driver as the last 3. I don’t know who fibbed to who on the shipping, Extreme to me or Custom CO (Extremes Shipper) to Extreme but a “un-damaged” tool box arrived in my shop!!!!
My first impression after taking all the cardboard and shrink wrap off is that this tool box is no Sna*-O* or Matc* or Cromwel*, It’s a lot closer to a Sears blue light special, just a lot bigger and a LITTLE heavier.
I can’t fault Shannon at Strictly Tool boxes for this, he told me it was lighter that the next tool box up the food chain but I tried it anyway. My mistake.
Closer inspection found a dent in the bottom drawer and it is hard to get all of the drawers pushed in at the same time to lock it up.
Bottom line is I am not impressed.

Response from Extreme Tools
We are sorry that you had so much trouble in getting this order delivered. We continue to work diligently to maintain our excellent customer service record. However, Extreme Tools has no way of controlling the mishaps that occur with the freight lines once our merchandise leaves our warehouse. We acknowledged your claims immediately and sent out a new tool box within 24 hours. We contacted the shipper several times regarding the deliveries and the damaged tool boxes. We requested “white glove service” and also received written confirmation that the final tool box would be delivered by a different 3rd party delivery service. We did everything that we could within our power to get your item delivered in brand new condition.
The Extreme Tools tool box which you purchased is our top selling tool box and listed under our Standard Tool Box Series. The specifications including the gauge of the steel, the weight, the strength of the drawers, etc. is posted and readily accessible for anyone wishing to make a purchase. We have never had a tool box returned because a customer was unhappy with the quality. Most people who have researched our tool boxes know if they want the standard series or if they want the added strength and features of the Professional Tool Box Series.
Since we want our customers to be fully satisfied with the quality of their purchases, we are willing to offer a refund on your current purchase and a discount one of our Professional Series tool boxes if you wish to purchase that one instead. We hope that this offer will help to compensate you for the frustration you experienced in trying to get your tool box. (Posted on 6/27/11)

I was looking around between the three major brands and decided on the same size. Another technician has that tool box in the shop so I was able to check it out pretty well. It's a nice tool box, but they cost around $5500. I came across strictlytoolboxes.com and saw the 72" 16 drawer Montezuma. I looked at the specifications and went back to look at the other tool box's specs. Not much of a difference, in fact the only differences were in favor the Montezuma. About a month ago "add to cart" was clicked.
It arrived securely surrounded in Styrofoam inside a crate. I opened the crate and was amazed at what just $2000 had gotten me. I rolled it into the shop and have not stopped getting compliments since. The paint finish is great and the drawer pulls look and feel awesome. The drawer liners fit perfectly and, as my shop foreman said, the drawers pull just as nice as his tool box that cost five times as much. The top is nice and smooth so you can write on it. The height is perfect for me, I could not have been happier on that point. I love the fact that it has the extra set of casters. That means that is it meant to hold a heavy load. The drawer sliders actually hold more weight than the original tool box i was looking at. Another big plus is the second full width skinny drawer. I have never seen that on any other tool box and it is the perfect drawer.
Overall I had a great experience with strictlytoolboxes.com and am 110% happy with my choice. Some of the other techs told me if they had to do it all over again they wouldn't have made the same decision. Even one of the tools truck guys was was checking it out. When I told him the price he was blown away. He came back over to me later and said that if I would have gotten a tool box just like the 72" 16 drawer Montezuma it would have cost me over $6000. Anyway, the box is holding up very well - I'm into it a couple hundred times a day 6 days a week with no problems. Shannon walked me through the purchase ( I was nervous sending a stranger that much money through the internet), but I can recommend Strictly Tool Boxes and Shannon without reservation. I have recommended them to several friends, and will continue recommending them to everyone.
Thanks again to Shannon for a GREAT tool box at a GREAT price. (Posted on 3/15/11)

This box really has everything I need and then some. I love the color (orange) and the overall design of the box. The two shallow, full length drawers beneath the deep top drawer are hard to find in other brands/boxes and that's one thing that really made me finally pull the trigger on this.
The quality is top notch, right up there with the truck brands, at least in my opinion. It's also worlds apart from big box store brands. The extra bracing on the bottom of the drawers and the bottom of the box, the beefy casters and the high quality slides really do set this tool box apart from anything else I've looked at so far.
As far as shipping, the service was prompt and the packing was outstanding. Not a scratch on it and the customer service has been nothing short of superb. I could not be more happy with my purchase and look forward to doing business with this site in the future. I highly recommend this tool box, because I honestly believe there is not a better value to be found elsewhere.

I have had several coworkers look over the tool box, and am impressed with the quality. The more I use this toolbox the more I like it. I have to say it did take me awhile to relearn the location of my tools, but that's true with any tool box. I have to say this is the least expensive tool box, as-far-as the quality is concerned! Par none!

I ordered the Montezuma Elite 72" with Hutch about 3 months ago and feel I have had enough time with it to give a thorough review. First off, let me say that I couldn't have been happier with the service given to me by Strictly. Joe is incredible, answers all questions and gives you updates on everything. He really gets involved right about when the box is delivered, making sure you, the buyer, understands the entire delivery inspection process. When the box is delivered, it looks as well packaged as any highly important package. It took a good deal of time to get the tool boxes out to check them over. I looked over every inch of the both pieces and found absolutely nothing wrong. There was a hole punched through the exterior wood board, but there was so much protective foam and packaging inside, that nothing got through. This is a testament to their incredible packaging job, and the care they give when delivering your tool box.
After everything is out and setup, I really got to take a good look at how massive this thing is! These tool boxes are tanks, and are very solid. Believe me, the 1400lbs that this setup is quoted at, is no exaggeration, there's a lot of steel in this tool box! It took 4 of us to lift the hutch up on the tool box. Only odd thing, is that I found I had to drill through the SS top to mount the hutch. Maybe I did it wrong? But i couldn't find any other way to mount it. The mounting hardware is hidden so no one would ever know. After the hutch was mounted, I was able to start playing with things. The hutch door opens with a little muscle required just because of how thick and rugged it is. As it rolls back in, it makes a nice thud when it engages it's stop. The ONLY complaint, is that it doesn't go in farther. I keep worrying i might bash my head on it, but when i looked at other hutches, it seems to be a typical trait of all hutches. So no points deducted! The shelf is way nicer than most would thing. Keeping things up out of the way, but still within reach is such a luxury that many in the shop get jealous about. As far as lighting, I have two 36" fluorescent lights. One on the backside of the hutch door (so when it opens its right above the shelf), and one under the shelf which really brightens up the work surface. I love the SS top with the textured finish. I get a lot of compliments on it, as no truck branded tool boxes have a top like this. It really does catch your eye when walking by.
When working on it, it is very solid and does not interfere with writing, as I was concerned about that. The drawers on the tool box are all very solid and open/close with authority. The large drawer up top is immense and will fit anything you throw at it. The fact that is also has two shallow "superwide" drawers below it are a HUGE plus. Most truck brands only offer one. With two, i can put longer screwdrivers/pry bar sets in the first, and in the second, my huge pliers collection. There's definitely no shortage on space in it. The drawer liners are very tacky and keep tools, etc from sliding around when closing or opening. They really are premium liners. The six sprung casters with 4 brakes really aid in moving this boat around. I honestly don't know how I would move this tool box over uneven surfaces without them. Not only do they work and look good, but they take stress of the tool box when rolling over rough surfaces. My tool box came with two polished, heavy duty handles, one for each side. I don't know if I got an extra or if you really get two, but it's nice when positioning it into a spot.
The paint finish is very nice and looks like automotive quality. I'm quite particular of my things and take very good care of stuff. I wax it once a week and wipe it down with mist detailer every night. So it has stayed looking incredible. It does seem to like fingerprints... But I'm sure every tool box does. All in all, i couldn't be happier. It makes my job easier everyday and is a joy to work with. I come in every morning smiling when I see it. It really is THAT nice. I was actually looking at a Mxxxx 5s box for more than what I spent on this, except it was only 56" wide and 25" deep with NO hutch. I knew it just wasn't going to cut it size wise. This tool box fits the bill perfectly. Huge size, incredible quality, and an amazing value. I have been recommending Montezuma (through Strictly of course) to anyone looking for a new tool box. A few apprentices have just started a bit ago and are in need of a tool box that will suit them for awhile without breaking the bank. I showed both of them this site and they immediately decided to bail on the little, overpriced Sxxx-Ox boxes they were looking at. They were even discounting them 50% and were still more than an equivalent Monty. Another Master Tech here claimed he was going to order a Hutch for his Mxxxx after seeing mine just because of how expensive the Mxxxx one was. I seem to be converting a good deal of techs in the shop. The others just walk away with their tail between their legs, knowing they spent 3x what i did for a tool box that in my opinion, isn't any better. Montezuma is about to take over. With their prices and quality, I can't see any reason why they wouldn't. (Posted on 9/5/11)
Review by Brian from Conyers, Georgia
I was nervous about buying such a big-ticket item online, but the customer service I got from Strictlytoolboxes.com eased my mind. They answered all the questions I had and kept me updated on the status of my tool box from the factory to my front door. The tool box comes shipped in a very stout and tightly-sealed container.
The only thing I would improve on this tool box is that the hutch door sticks out about 3 inches too far when it is in the open position. I wish it was recessed a little further so I could lean in more when I'm using the stainless steel work surface. Also, if you like a shiny tool box, the paint on the Montezuma is almost a semi-gloss matte finish. It doesn't have the deep, automotive-quality, glossy finish of the tool truck brands.
The overall quality of the tool box is excellent. I expect it to last well beyond my lifetime. The thickness of the steel, the strength of the drawer slides, and the security of the locking system are all professional grade. The drawers are very deep and come with nice liners pre-installed. Once you see a Montezuma in person and realize the money you can save, you have to ask yourself if it's worth a few thousand dollars more just to have a tool truck brand emblem on your tool box.
Spending the extra money for the hutch was an excellent move for me. With a $20 48" fluorescent utility light fixture mounted in the top for extra light, and an $80 dorm fridge set on top, I now have a super nice set-up. This box keeps me more organized and helps my work day go smoother. I'm no longer wasting time rummaging though a completely full tool box, losing tools and sometimes damaging them from having to cram the drawers shut. I also love the fact that the hutch comes with a shelf, and you can mount more shelves and racks on the inside walls for additional storage.
If I have to leave work due to a family emergency, I can throw my tools inside the hutch, pull the door down, lock it, and be gone in a few minutes, instead of wasting time having to individually put tools back in their drawers. Once you get used to the convenience, extra storage capacity and additional security that a hutch offers, you won't want to go back to a regular tool box.
This tool box stands tall, gets noticed, and has a presence all its own in the shop. It's my office and it helps me make money. I did a lot of research and hemmed and hawed over pulling the trigger on this purchase, but ever since I first un-crated my Montezuma, I've had no regrets. If you need a bigger, better tool box to get the job done without the ridiculous price tag, buy a Montezuma and don't look back. (Posted on 8/28/11)

About the tool box:
Purchasing: Buying the tool box could not have been any easier. I called Shannon up and asked a bunch of detailed questions. He was quick with the detailed answers. He had to check delivery time on the hutch, and got Montezuma on the phone while I waited. He had an answer within 1 minute. After ordering the tool box, Joe called me the next day to let me know the tool box has shipped, and to confirm the emails that he sent me detailing the shipping information.
Delivery: The tool box was delivered in 3 business day (impressive from KS to PA over a holiday weekend). It arrived safely with no visible damage to the packaging. The FedEx driver was patient and gave me no problems doing a full inspection of the tool box. He admitted that he was very curious to see what a 1400 lb, $4000 toolbox looked like. The crate was solidly built around the tool box, and the hutch is folded up and flat packaged with about 200 sq ft of 1/2" thick styrofoam. Well done Montezuma!
Assembly: The rolling cabinet comes with the wheels attached, so no assembly is required. The detents in the drawers are very tight and it will feel like the drawers are locked, but they are not. The keys and spare detents were in the top widest drawer. In order to attach the hutch, you need to remove the stainless top of the rolling cabinet, flip it over and finish the holes that were started in the MDF. I drilled 1/2" diameter holes so that there would be sufficient clearance. (started out with 3/8", but it was too tight) Metric hex head bolts are supplied for attaching the hutch to the rolling cabinet. They work, but should probably be about 1/4" longer. The 2 bolts that go in the rear are difficult to install, so I replaced them with socket head cap screws(M8 i think??). The hutch is supplied with (4) lifting eyebolts which will make installation much easier if you have access to a crane/engine hoist/forklift and lifting straps. The lifting points have an M12 thread. (my toolbox came with (3) M12's and (1) M10, but luckily I had extra M12's in my arsenal of rigging supplies). The hutch is folded flat for shipping, and I thought it would be difficult to assemble. It is hinged at 3 points and goes together very easily. I lifted it by the 4 points with an overhead crane (see pic) and it just about fell together into place. Once assembled and installed on top of the rolling cabinet, i had a bit of difficulty figuring out what was keeping the hutch door from sliding. There are two bolts holding in small angle clips in the top rear left and right corners. Remove these two bolts and the hutch door will slide freely.
Dimensions: The strictlytoolboxes dimensions for the tool box must include the lifting eyes. The actual dimensions are 73" tall (without eyebolts), 72 7/8" long (79 1/8" with handles), with the hutch being 26.5" tall.
Hutch: The door is very heavy and solid, you almost need two hands to open/close it. The pegboard is strong enough to hold a good bit of weight, and it has standard 1' spacing with 1/4" holes. The shelf is 12.5" deep and made of a 300 series stainless (not magnetic). It is adjustable to 5 different positions from about 12" high to 20" high. It seems like it will easily hold 100+ lbs. The lock on the hutch is the same design as a standard garage door with full length solid round bar on each side the securely locks into a slot. The bar is 5/16" (8mm) thick. The heavy door slides easily on 1.5" nylon rollers, and has a heavy full-length piano hinge.
Rolling Cabinet: The top is 1" thick MDF, with a 400 series stainless top (magnetic). The stainless is about 1/16"-3/32" thick, with a nice small checkerboard pattern. The pattern is nice, because scratches will blend in. The drawer detents are very tight to the point that it almost feels locked. I guess they have a to break in a little bit. The drawers are very solid and stiff, you can open the widest drawer by pulling on the very edge of it. The stiffeners underneath the drawers help a lot in keeping the drawers from bowing under heavy load. The wheels are great! They make it very easy to move the tool box into tight areas. Because there are four turning wheels, the tool box can be pushed right into an opening along the wall (the spring on the center two wheels will allow them to lift up and be out of the way). I can move the full loaded tool box in and out of the opening you see in the pics by myself.
Finally a Conclusion: After searching for almost a year for a perfect tool box, I found it. Do not look any further-you won't find a better product for the price or better customer service. (Posted on 7/19/11)
Review by dms from Rockville Maryland
The tool box arrived (paid for the lift gate shipping, do it do it) with the tool box packaged very well. The hutch came folded up on top. I thought that I would be assembling the hutch for hours. It was very easy, just folded out the sides, 2 bolts held down the top to the sides and installed it on the box (with some help from other techs). Here are my only two small issues with the whole box. The directions did not say to flip the metal tool box top over to drill it out to have access to bolt down the hutch and how to remove the shipping brackets for the door of the hutch. A very quick phone call to Strictly toolboxes and Montezuma fixed these issues. They also said that they would look at these small things and fix it for the rest of you!!
The tool box itself is very professional at amateur prices! The quality is up there with the truck brand tool boxes. The drawers open and close very smooth and solid. The spring loaded casters are as good as what is on my Sxxx-Ox tool box. The stainless steel tool box top looks great and I have had no problem using it as I need to being a technician. The tool box came with 3 different keys for the main tool box, the lock box and the hutch. I called Strictly Tool Boxes and they had no problem sending me a matching set. Some people like having the security of 2 or 3 different keys, but my janitorial key ring can not handle 2 more new ones. They had a new set out the next day. After getting it set up, I actually made some of my fellow technicians mad. After seeing what I got for the price that I paid, they were concerned with their purchase of their toolboxes. I know that 2 other technicians now have their tool boxes for sale so they can upgrade like I did to the Montezuma 72"! If Strictly keeps selling to all these professional technicians they will need a used tool box section to help us sell our tool boxes (hint hint).
Thank You (Posted on 7/1/11)

The toolbox was shipped with so much padding it took me longer to unpack it than to stock it with my tools. The only complaint I have with my entire purchase is with the shipping company. There was a little damage to the back but I couldn't do anything about it because the shipping company Saia had someone other than myself sign for it. I should have been the ONLY one authorized to sign for my box. Anyway, the toolbox was shipped extremely fast. The toolbox matches the best boxes I have seen in quality. I have people come up to my box and can't believe I have twice the toolbox they have for a third of the price.
Bottom line, buy this toolbox if you are in need of a heavy duty, great quality and extremely heavy tool chest. I believe that this tool box will last me the rest of my career. Once I decide that I am in need for more room, you can bet that I will be purchasing a top box from Strictly Tool Boxes. And one more thing, if you have ever heard of the term “supply and demand”, you will understand what I am about to say. You better buy one of these soon because once the cats out of the bag about these toolboxes, the price will start to match the quality.

One look at the tool box and you can tell that these tool boxes are built well. The drawers slide very smoothly and securely on the rollerbearing slides and extend all the way out without being difficult to return inward. The handles that you install on both ends are very classy looking and are very strong.
Several items that are different but not necessarily worse than the tool truck boxes are as follows: The stainless top is textured slightly which makes it a little hard to write on, the drawer detents are rather stiff but the tool box has softer spare detent blocks and instructions on how to install them, and all the end castors swivel which make it easy to maneuver but also make the box slightly more difficult to push in a straight line.
Things i like about this tool box... the extra security drawer, the great paint job it has, the no-skid drawer liners that come with the tool box, the 2 wide shallow drawers underneath the socket drawer; I use one for wrenches and the other for screwdrivers and pliers, I also like having a handle on each end of the tool box. The thing I like best is that all the other guys in the shop are asking the tool truck dealer why their tool boxes cost so much!!! After seeing my tool box, one of my coworkers said that Snxp-xn is becoming a brand name cult!
That said, I have been working out of it for 2 weeks and I love the tool box! All the other guys in the shop have been amazed at how nice this tool box is for a 3rd of the price that they paid for their tool boxes. I would be amazed if anyone else who saw my tool box would still pay $10,000 for a tool truck tool box! I would never hesitate to convince anyone to get this tool box over more expensive tool boxes. As long as Montezuma keeps making them and strictly-toolboxes keeps selling them I will never buy anything else from anyone else! (Posted on 1/20/12)

When my toolbox came and we unpacked it you could just see the look in techs eyes when we got it all unpacked and put the handles on the beautiful toolbox. The first words out their mouths were “How Much did you pay for this?”. Later that day my one tech said to the sxxx-ox man “I wanna try and sell my toolbox”. That put a smile on my face when I heard it.
I love this toolbox - plenty of room, nice and big, color is great, the quality is top notch, and customer service is right on point. I had to give a key to my son called them up and without question they sent me 2 keys free of charge. My experience with strictly tool boxes has been a good one. Great company to do business with! Way to go guys!
I'm already setting up to make my next buy. A side cabinet and hutch. Now when customers come in they see my toolbox first out of the other 3 toolboxes. My toolbox is the real eye catcher! Thanks STB.
PS . I almost forgot when sxxx-ox saw it the first thing he said was that it was not good quality. Our boxes are painted on the inside and most boxes you get online are just painted on the outside and the bearings are junk as well. Being the Asshole I am I said “Really?” in front of a shop full of people “Lets see.” we walked over to my toolbox and I pulled out the top draw and checked with my flash light. I said “Looks all painted to me!” then I went and stepped into the bottom draw and said push the draw in and out while I was standing in it again without any problems drawer worked great! I weigh 260 pounds. That sure shut him up. (Posted on 11/12/11)

The Elite series is a heavy duty professional grade tool box. I think it is heavier than the tool truck guys (you know who they are). The only thing you will miss by buying this tool box is all the extra payments you would be making to the tool truck guys. You will be the ENVY of all the guys in your shop or all the people in your neighborhood because of the QUALITY and the PRICE. The quality of this tool box is so high that I can tell it will last for decades without a problem. The only way I can see you overloading the drawers is if you store plate steel in them. The drawers extend fully so make sure you have enough room for it (you need at least 60 inches deep).
The day it arrived I spent 3 hours after work moving all my tools into it. MONTEZUMA ELITE is the tool box to buy, and STRICTLYTOOLBOXES.COM is the place to buy it. I could not be happier.

I was on the verge of spending $10,000 dollars on a similar tool box by another big brand, and am definitely glad I went with this tool cabinet. It's an amazing toolbox and I have no regrets purchasing it. I've had many techs from my dealership, and from neighboring dealers come and look at it, and all of them were impressed by the build quality of this tool cabinet. I'd definitely recommended they consider purchasing this toolbox from here, because of the amazing customer service strictly toolboxes offers, they treated me with respect, and were VERY courteous, and shipping/delivery was a breeze. If I had a choice to choose between buying this toolbox from here, and buying one from a big brand, I wouldn't think twice about the big brand.

Shanon recommended the Montezuma for the organizational capabilities of the sockets and wrenches with such easy access, while recommending the Extreme for the rest of the Misc. tools. And he was absolutely right. One flick of the Montazuma's handle and it springs open giving you instant access to the most used tools in the shop. So, I placed it right on top of the Extreme box, In the Extreme box I placed everything else I can imagine would fit (Accept the girl) :( :( I spent days and days reading reviews and pricing different toolboxes, Strictly Toolboxes beat everyone's price even a guy on Ebay who couldn't deliver. They are built so well, I set the drawers like a staircase so that girl in the photo actually walked to the top of the toolchest using the drawers (I had to hold her for safety of course.. :) :) I also added the optional wheels, I call them spinners, I got them because they just make the box look even better.. Both boxes are rugged, heavy duty and seemingly bullet proof. Delivery was quick and punctual, communication from Strictly Tool Boxes about time of arrival and etc. was phenomenal. Their is only 2 things I can say to improve these boxes, 1) is if you made that bottom drawer 4 inches deeper I could fit that girl in there,,, :) and 2) The matting that comes from the factory in the Extreme drawers isn't the best, Once you have your tools all freakishly organized like I do, when you close the drawers they tend to slide back just a little each time with all your tools on them.. Its not a big deal it was just annoying to open my tool drawer and find the padding shifted back 1/4 inch.. Doesn’t seem to be enough friction in the rubber mating to hold them in place, however it was easily fixed by purchasing third party tool drawer padding.. Now this setup is perfection at its finest.. :) And that’s just the way I ROLL.. :) :)

Dealing with strictlytoolboxs.com was very pleasant, they were quick to return emails and calls. I had the toolbox less than a week after ordering it. The toolbox came on a heavy wooden pallet in a wooden crate. It was very well packaged.
The finish of the toolbox is very nice, the paint has a nice glossy look to it. The drawer handles have a very solid quality feel to them. The drawer slides are smooth, even on my heaviest loaded drawers. The included stainless top makes a nice work surface, and I have yet to dent it. One feature that would make the top a bit nicer would be a raised edge on the front to prevent tools from rolling off.
The locking system works better than any other toolbox I have owned. The drawers have spring loaded catches on them so if the toolbox is locked with a drawer open, the drawer can still be shut and locked.
My only serious complaint with the toolbox is the detent system used to keep the drawers shut. They are very stiff and it takes a solid push and pull to shut and open the drawers. Each time I do this all the tools in the drawer slide back and forth. The drawer liners are run of the mill foam liners and not very tacky.
Overall I am very happy with the toolbox for the money paid. I feel this is a toolbox that will last a long time even in a daily use situation.

The action on the drawers is mostly smooth but they are a bit hard to close to the lock position and it takes some force to open when loaded. I think this will loosen up with some use. The slides seem like there high quality. All the drawers except the shallow ones have 2 slides per side. This is more than i can say for the Sxxx Ox that has 2 on the top drawer and one on all the rest. The drawer pulls look great but are attached by screws from the inside. This wouldn't be a problem except the drawer front is double wall and theirs a small empty space in it. I'm worried that they may loosen up after time. I don't think this will be a problem that cant be fixed with a screwdriver.
The stainless steel top was nice and solid but it is not smooth. It feels like brushed aluminum. I think its going to stain easily. It is also totally flat, there no lip on the front to keep a socket from rolling off.
As for the frame itself it is very solid. I have not removed the drawrs to inspect the inside but from the outside it looks great. The finish if perfect. It looks as good as any toolbox i have seen. I got the closeout 2007 model and it didn't have the spring loaded casters. It would have been nice but not worth the $450 price tag. I think i can find them for less.
All in all this is by far the best tool box for the price. I'm my opinion this is as good or better than any of the big three tool truck brands. There's about 40 or 50 people and they all were amazed at the quality and no one could believe the price i payed. All the thing i mentioned were more for clarification that the pictures don't show. If you get this box you will be happy. (Posted on 6/8/09)

Last year my Daughter-in-Law wanted to get my Son a new tool box and I gave her this website. She got him a Montezuma 56 inch combination set for Christmas last year. When I saw it I immediately saw a quality product. The construction of the tool box is top notch and the roller bearing drawers makes opening them effortless. The roller bearing drawers are great. I knew what I was going get now.
I was planning on getting just a bottom cabinet for myself but Christmas was coming so I waited and when asked what I wanted I said just some cash to put toward a new tool box. My Son and Daughter in Law had already gotten me the top 56 inch Montezuma tool chest for Christmas and were hiding it at there house. They thought I would get the bottom roller cabinet myself not waiting for Christmas. Well I hadn't so now I had nothing to put the new top chest on so I had get the 56 inch roller cabinet for it. Oh darn!
When I ordered the 56 inch Montezuma roller chest I was informed that they were on back order and were a few months from being in stock. Bummer I thought. Well to my surprise I was offered the 56 inch Extreme roller cabinet at only a few dollars more than the Montezuma. It was impossible to pass that up so I now have a brand new Montezuma 56 inch top chest and a 56 inch bottom Extreme roller cabinet.
I couldn't believe how much stuff I had accumulated in over 30 years. I managed to get it all in the new Montezuma and Extreme tool box plus other tools that I had scattered here and there because of not having enough room in the old tool box. With the weight of all the tools in several of the drawers the new roller bearing drawers makes opening them very easy, one hand.
The quality of both in my opinion is equal to or surpasses that of the much higher price boxes offered by Mac or Snap On. Strictly Tool Boxes was fantastic to do business with and I Highly recommend them.
Sincerely, Wes. (Posted on 1/29/12)

I've only noticed one hiccup with my tool box, and that is the lock can feel a bit finicky at times, like something's going to give if you twist harder. I just make sure all of my drawers are completely pushed in before I lock it and it's not a problem. (Posted on 10/12/11)

I would say my favorite feature is the absolute smooth operation of drawers, full or empty they are perfect. I also really like the way they wrap the stainless over the full top lip of the drawer front to prevent scratching if you drop a wrench on it. There are so many great engineering ideas in construction of these tool boxes that if you would think an old mechanic designed them. They truly put a lot of work into an absolute great design and user friendly tool box. I am very satisfied with my tool box and look forward to doing more business in the future with Shannon, next summer I will probably add the EX2404SC to my tool storage. (Posted on 3/13/12)

After a few choice 4 letter words and my son reminding me it was my idea to change this out in Car Quest's parking lot I told him i knew of a tool box that literally could save his a__ the rest of his life. It would have room, missing sizes were obvious, is was indestructible, waterproof, lockable and fairly portable. I thought it would be a great gift. Once, as he reminisced about Xmas gifts he said some of the best were the ones he didn't ask for - like that first set of tools. He needed an update and I didn't like freezing my a__ off in that parking lot (Posted on 8/27/11)

The quality of this tool box is excellent. When people see my tool box they just say "WOW". Then they get a puzzled look on their face when they see Montezuma. Then when I pull open the top drawer on the bottom cabinet with over 200 sockets, ratchets, breaker bars, torque wrenches and extensions and then hang another 180 lbs. (my weight) on the drawer front, they are very impressed. I could go on all day about this tool box but let me tell you that you won't regret buying it. The only bad thing I can say about this tool box is that it doesn't come equipped for guys under 6'4". You will need to buy a step stool to see into the top drawers. Thank you Montezuma for the quality that is built into my new tool box, and Thank You strictlytoolboxes.com for the price and getting it to me. It was well worth the backorder wait. The Montezuma 41" toolbox is that old-time quality, that can be passed onto my son. Heavy-duty steel that doesn't bend or warp when pull out the drawers; robust ball-bearing slides ready to take on the heaviest of tool arrangements; Wheels that travel along the floor with durability and ease. This compounded with handsome looks that compliment any garage.
Compare a Montezuma tool box with any of the competition within the same price range, and there is no comparison. I searched four years for the right box: Cxxxxxxxx, Hxxxx, Kxxxxxt, Hxxxxx Fxxxxxx, Cxxxxx/Sxxx Cxxx, even Craig's List for a quality used Box. Problem I had, I wanted a hobbyist tool box with Sxxx Ox quality (No room in the garage for a 71", and not looking to spend $5,000 plus). After many frustrating years and Google searches, I read a couple forums discussing Montezuma boxes. The more I searched the more I was impressed. But purchasing a tool box online, without seeing it... I was wary. Shannon put those worries aside... and I'm glad he did as this is one hell of a tool box.

I was originally looking at a 56'' toolbox, but once I saw this in person and I saw how big it really was I decided to go with more drawers and a more vertical box. I am going to have a tough time filling this beast for sure. The drawer pulls are huge and wrap around the top witch is really nice. The over all fit and finish on the box is great, you really can't compare it to anything else in this price range, it is just above and beyond. If you are a mechanic working at a shop it could live right next to any of "the big three" boxes your buddy might have, and it will be every bit as good. The only difference between the two of you is that you will be taking your paycheck home, and he will be dropping it off at the tool truck every week for the next few years paying off his tool box.

After spending many hours searching I came upon strictly tool boxes and placed an order. Never having done this before I was very nervous. No need to worry! His side cabinet is twice as nice as mine though... the cabinet is way too narrow.. needs to be 24 inches like comparable brands all are.... i hate the side cabinet.
the casters are awesome,, I have to roll my box every week and it move easily! especially with the TWO!! HUGE chrome heavy duty end handles it comes with,, no higher end brand comes with 2 with a side cabinet..
things i DONT like.....
I have to use 3 different keys everyday to unlock and lock as all 3 pieces of my box came with different keys which is stupid..
the powder coat is ok, but they didn’t prep the metal good on my hutch door in the top and the paint is all bubbled about 6 inches long, has been like that since day one.. and it scratched extremely easy..
the draw slides are awesome, but the bump stop are cheesy, the little rubber stoppers in the back of the 30 inch deep box is a pain in the butt to keep putting back on after they fall off in 2-3 months use,, i have been gluing them on with oil pan silicone to keep them there..
OVERALL I GIVE THIS BOX A 9 OUT OF 10 FOR THE VALUE AND OVERALL HUGE AMOUNT OF ROOM I GOT FOR ONLY $5000..... The Sxxx-Ox hutch is almost that much...
Thank you !!!
UPDATE from StrictlyToolBoxes.com
We are now able to provide matching lock and key sets for the entire set. We have also come out with new rubber stop/ detents to resolve the issues mentioned above.
