Excellent Decision
I am a full time auto tech and have needed to get a bigger tool box for a long time. Have looked at Truck brands for a while to trade in my 41" Sxxx-Ox. Still couldn't justify spending the extra $4-$5k for the difference. After all it stores my extra tools and doesn't roll around much. I have a Cxxxxxxx cart I love for my usual ratchets, wenches, pliers, etc. I had looked on this site for months, reading reviews and figuring out which tool box I wanted. When the time came I decided on the EX7218RC. While its not the professional series with thicker gauge steel I believe it will do what I want. The packaging it came in may be built to handle as much hell as the tool box itself. Luckily the freight guy was completely cool with me checking it out before I signed. Rolled into my bay and was very happy with the new tool box. Swapped all my tools over, with room to spare for a change. This tool box is strong as any lower/middle class truck brand, which is what i had before and expected, but with a quarter the cost. I'd suggest this to anyone, in fact I already have to two friends of mine. Detents instead of a griplatch, but not a big deal to me, may be others. Overall, excellent decision. (Posted on 10/30/11)

I was EXTREMELY pleased with this toolbox when it showed up
I was EXTREMELY pleased with this toolbox when it showed up. The toolbox was very well packaged and protected during shipment. I was pleasantly surprised when I finally was able to begin using this unit. I would park this next to a Sxxx-Ox, Mxx or Mxxxx any day of the week. I work with all Sxxxx-Ox at work, but this is kept at my home. My only complaint is the toolbox wasn't built in the USA. (Posted on 7/29/11)

This tool box is super stout
I received my tool box today and this tool box is super stout. I had 30 technicians, not including sales parts and service advisors eyeballing the tool box. My favorite sayings today were “weighs over 1000 pounds” and “German paint and a stainless top”.
The guy that works next to me saw on your website and compared my tool box to his. My tool box has 1.2mm steel so he checked his Sxxx-ox tool box. The Sxxx-ox steel was 1.34 so minus the paint probably 1.2mm as well. The Sxxx-ox tool box cost him 6500 dollars and is didn’t have a stainless top. It is shorter and not as deep as my tool box. It also has 2 fewer casters.
I am not complaining and I am not sending my tool box back. You can’t have it! There were 2 things wrong with the toolbox. A minor 2 inch ding in back side of tool box. You have to look side ways to see it. The major concern was that almost all the wheel bolts where loose and 2 where missing. I tightened them up and installed 2 new bolts. While working on the casters I saw the construction inside the box and it is very well build.
The trucking company you used had my # but didn’t call me. They allowed a parts guy to sign off on it. I just wanted to let you know. The tool box is very well packed. My only recommendation is that you tell your customers to check their wheel bolts. Thank you so much for the great deal. I am trying to send you business, and helping to get the word out. Extremely pleased with Strictly tool boxes and Extreme 72" tool Box
The first word out of my mouth after unpacking for inspection was WOW!! First Class construction Same or Better quality than SnxxxOx or M@@. What great deal compared to what the Sn@@O# guy wanted for a 6 year old box much smaller. When you are in the market for a tool box there is only one place to buy from. Great customer service Can't wait to fill it up! (Posted on 10/21/10)

BUY THIS BOX!
I'm a shop owner in NJ and i've always been on the hunt for a big box, but never wanted to spend that $8000 on a tool box. I came across this on online and was a little skeptical about the quality but, let me tell you when it showed up i was amazed at the quality. I even thought that that quality of the stainless was going to be cheap, but no it has an amazing finish. My trans builder has a Sxxx Ox box, same size as my Extreme, and he payed $8000 for it and an additional $800 for the stainless top! Forget that! This box is the one to buy. (Posted on 6/27/10)

Excellent toolbox and update.
I am adding on to my other review like I said and not much has changed about my opinions of this box. It is still working very well and holds all of my tools. The next time I purchase a box of this size however I am upgrading to the professional line because of the faultless caster and the heavier duty drawers. Mainly the top two because that is where I have all my sockets and impact tools and those get very heavy. Also the professional/Extreme duty box has a heavier gauge steel that will hold up for many more years than this one. In conclusion box was a great buy and I would DEFINITELY buy from Shannon at Strictly tool boxes again!! (Posted on 6/19/10)

Excellent tool boxx for price!!
I was very happy with Strictly tool boxes customer service. I would definitely order from the again. Box came in 1/2' press board then 1/4' cardboard then 3/4" foam followed by plastic bag for a total of 1 1/2" of more than adequate protection. Now about the box itself. It has very good ball bearing slides that have a ball every 3/8" for the load bearing length of the slide. This is the same as SXXX-XX and MXXXX boxes of similar dimensions. The box has a very heavy gauge steel that is as near as I can tell the same as SXXX-XX or MXXXX( can't tell for sure because of the paint). Casters work well but I would order the faultless casters next time because your "flat" concrete is not that flat( box rides on four of the six caster on my floor due t it not being perfectly flat by the seams). Handles are solid aluminum, top is very nice. If i need a second box would definitely order from her again. Will amend this review after a couple of months just to let you know how the box is holding up! (Posted on 1/7/10)

You would be crazy not to buy this box!
This box is the best deal and value I've ever found in a tool box. For all of you guys that get the weekly visits from the tool trucks, you know how much one of those boxes would cost - the same as a good used car. This Mountain box is built as good if not better and is WAY cheaper. You couldn't find a better deal! I will be buying another smaller tool box for home. Thank you strictlytoolboxes.com for all your help and I look forward to doing business with you again! (Posted on 7/13/09)

Very nice unit for the price, glad I got it!
I have had the cabinet for about a month now and it is working out very well. I am impressed by the quality for the price. Mine stays parked and have the standard casters and don't know what would happen if I was to roll it around a lot but I'm sure it would be fine. It is a great value. Irritates the tool venders that come in but sorry! (Posted on 3/30/09)
