Lift gate delivery is an additional service provided by the freight company. This service makes the freight company responsible for unloading your toolbox from the freight truck to the ground.
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A LOADING DOCK OR ANY OTHER MEANS OF REMOVING YOUR SHIPMENT PLEASE ADD LIFT GATE DELIVERY WHEN PLACING YOUR ORDER.
Lift gate delivery service is used to lower a heavy shipment like a toolbox from the freight truck to the ground. These trailers are used when the delivery location does not have a loading dock or a forklift to remove the shipment. The most common situation to use our lift gate service is with a residential delivery.

FedEx's terms and conditions clearly state that you are unable to inspect your shipment unless there are signs of damage to the exterior packaging. Signs of damage can be as simple as a tear in the shrink wrap or a broken pallet. You will always be able to find a scuff or mark on the packaging somewhere that will allow you to inspect your shipment. In order to insure a positive customer experience receiving your new toolbox becomes the most important part of your purchase. When you sign the bill of lading you are signing an agreement with the freight company that states that you or an authorized representative has thoroughly inspected the shipment. That you are receiving it without damage and are waiving any rights to file a freight claim.
